The section of the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail between Eagle Creek and Cascade Locks (Bridge of the Gods) is closed due to a landslide near Ruckel Creek. Crews are clearing debris, and heavy equipment is in use. Once debris removal is complete, the trail will be inspected and we'll identify when it can reopen. Trail 400 is co-aligned with the State Trail in the area of the landslide. Oregon State Parks says that bicyclists may use I-84 to detour around the closed section. There is no recommended detour for hikers.
