The PCT is closed from north of Windigo Pass (mile 1883.5) up to Highway 58 (mile 1909.5) due to the Willamette Complex South and Red Fires. The Diamond Complex has also closed lands to the west of the trail. People traveling north should consider leaving the PCT at Highway 138 (mile 1849.5). If you head north into Mount Thielsen Wilderness, consider leaving the PCT via Trail 1446 (mile 1867.7) to Miller Lake and then onwards to Chemult. Please see the closure maps for details of what is closed beyond the PCT itself. No detour recommendation is available at this time.
