PCT Closure Map
The Miner's Fire has closed the PCT from Mica Lake (mile 2524) to Suiattle Pass (mile 2555). The fire started by lightning on 8/13/2026 and is in steep, inaccessible terrain. This will create major challenges for through and section hikers with the additional wildfire and smoke impacts related to the Litte Giant Fire.
