The Pacific Crest Trail is closed between Suiattle Pass (mile 2555.2) and Stehekin Valley Road (mile 2575.2) due to the Sisi Fire. Legal closures orders are in place for both U.S. Forest Service and National Park Service lands. If you will be detouring around, please note: PCT Long-distance Permits are for the PCT corridor only, usually defined as ½ mile on each side of the trail. To hike other routes, you must obtain local permits. In North Cascades National Park, PCT Long-distance Permit holders are allowed to camp at the designated sites at Lakeview, Bridge Creek, and Six Mile. Camping in any other location requires an additional permit.
