Temporary Reroute to access PCT North and South of Tioga Road - Tuolumne Meadows

Soda Springs Road and hiking trail, which includes a portion of the PCT, will be closed for the remainder of the 2026 hiking season while Yosemite National Park completes road hardening work as part of the wastewater treatment plant project in Tuolumne. The park has implemented a short reroute, as seen on this map. Visitors can expect occasional visual / noise impacts from construction activities and traffic delays up to 10 minutes along Tioga Road.
