Great news! The Pacific Crest Trail has reopened between Harts Pass and Canada! Lands and trails east and west of the PCT remain closed due to the Ptarmigan and Border 2 Fires. Our sincere thanks to everyone who has been working so hard to address the Ptarmigan Fire and for the unwavering efforts of the staff of the Methow Valley Ranger District of Okanogan Wenatchee National Forest.
