Bartle Gap brush and blowdown

The area of concern is from Bartle Gap at approximately mile 1448 northbound to mile 1460 near Pigeon Hill.  Hikers should expect sections of dense brush and likely blowdown.  PCTA and BCHC have put effort into maintenance in this area in recent years with plans to concentrate on the area this summer.  As access conditions allow, BCHC volunteers will be riding through and logging out in the coming weeks.  In addition, PCTA will be facilitating multiple hitches of Corps crew time in the area later this summer.  Thank you for your patience.
