West Fork West Walker River Bridge damaged

The bridge across the West Fork West Walker River (mile 1003.6) is damaged and closed. It is located in Hoover Wilderness north of Yosemite. Hikers should generally be able to navigate around the closed bridge. Stock animals will have a more challenging detour. Consider following the river north to where there should be a shallower wide section of the river.
