Updated:

Alert

The North Fork Bridge (mile 2582.9) was destroyed in 2021. Beginning 9/25/24, the temporary hiker bridge near North Fork Camp will not be accessible while contractors work on construction of the new bridge. Hiker and stock users should use the McAlester Lake and Rainbow Creek trails from the Upper Rainbow Loop Trailhead. Pay attention to weather and creek levels; creeks, including Bridge Creek near the site of the North Fork Bridge, may not be safely fordable following rainstorms.
